Six months ago, when Leanne was 1 year 9 months, she was only able to speak a few words such as calling daddy and mummy, and calling names (which was shortened to suit her convenience). When she wanted a dummy, she would point her two fingers towards her mouth and uttered ah ah. We understood what she wanted.
Six months later, she not only could speak well but used words unexpected of a two year old child. Examples:
Grandma once asked her what she was eating while she was sitting at the dining table.
Shannon replied : Eat nonsense
One night when she was in Melaka, she looked at a medicine box and said to Atta:
Atta eat medicine.
Leanne once told Grandma she hair was ‘Kusut” in Bahasa meaning hair is tangled.
Her favorite phrase “I want Smarties, I want chocolate”
She now could communicate with completed sentences and asked numerous questions.
Dearest Sunshine,
u grow up so fast! we must pen down somewhere or all will be gone down memory lane. So, this site is for u.

Hmmm..she can speak complete sentences at 1 year 9 months, but just very simple and short one e.g.
Mum, want gen (vitagen).
me want mam mam (milk). now she pronounce the word 'milk'
no want go...
wear big head 'meng'(mickey mouse t-shirt)
now she speaks much more and we have to ask her to stop talking!
I like her answer "eat nonsense" =p
