At the Hairdresser

It’s a miracle to get her to sit and allow Auntie Ah Fong (hairdresser) to cut her hair. She usually cries and says she doesn’t want a hair cut. To get her fringe cut, Mama and Grandma will have to say, “Shannon, we cutting ‘meng’ style for you”. With that she allows you to snip her hair.

On Thursday, I went to the hairdresser to cut and colour my hair. Shannon insisted to wait for me. While waiting, Auntie Ah Fong gave her sweets and a cup of water to drink. As usual, after warming up, Shannon started her ‘what’ ‘who’ and ‘why’ questions. Who’s hair on the floor? Why? Why cut hair? Why colour hair? What comb? Etc. etc.

After awhile , Auntie Ah Fong asked, “Do you want a hair cut?” She said yes. She wanted a hair wash too! So here goes….
