Leanne used words not normally used by a baby in daily conversations. Nobody had taught her and she learnt them from listening to adults.
Leanne said Atta Handsome
While in Melaka one night, Leanne as usual wanted mummy to read her to sleep. Mummy did not bring the “Meng book” with her and instead took out a family photo album.
She was turning the pages of the album when Leanne saw Atta’s photograph and said
with a cheeky smile “Atta handsome!”. Mummy was surprised that she could use such a word, as nobody had taught her to say what she had said. Atta was surprised and flattered (when told to him) as no two year old baby had said such a word to him before.
The next morning, Grandma ask her “Yesterday u say Atta what?”
She repeated “Atta handsome!”.
Mummy’s Wisdom tooth
While traveling in the car, Grandma noticed that she was eating too many jelly sweets.
Grandma said to Leanne “U eat too many sweets and your teeth will drop and u will have no more teeth”
Leanne intelligently replied “Like Atta use denture”
She went on to say “mummy went dentist and take out wisdom tooth”
Grandma asked “why”
She said “Because the wisdom teeth grow big so mummy had to take it out”
Dearest Sunshine,
u grow up so fast! we must pen down somewhere or all will be gone down memory lane. So, this site is for u.
