At a bookshop looking for a birthday card to send to Mama...
Shannon: Mummy…
Mummy: (Not answering)
Shannon: Mummy…
Mummy: (Not answering)
Shannon: Mummy…Oh, Mummy (she called me in the same tone her 2 grandmothers would call her. At times when she doesn’t answer to their call, they will call, Shannon…oh, Shannon)
She talked so much at the book shop. When I paid the cards at the cashier, the cashier lady said “A chatter box isn’t she? It’s a pity they grow so fast”.
Daddy takes care of Mummy
Shannon: Where’s Daddy?
Mummy: Working
Shannon: Why Mummy not working?
Mummy: Taking care of Shannon. Otherwise, who will take care of you here?
Shannon: (smiled)
Few hours later…
Shannon: Next time when I’m big I’ll go to work. Who will take care of Mummy?
Mummy: Who?
Shannon: Daddy!
Hahahahahahahaha….
Buying things for Mummy
Shannon: Next time when I go work, I can buy things for Mummy like broccoli, carrots, vegetables and yogurt
Mummy: Thank you, Shannon.
Sharing Toys
Shannon has a problem sharing, especially with someone younger that her.
However, in Toddlers class 2 Sundays ago..i left at the toddlers class and sat in the service.
After service, Daddy n I went to pick her up. We asked the teacher whether she was a good girl n did she hit anyone younger than her? The teacher said Shannon was excellent! She played by her own n shared her toys.
When we out if the room, Shannon said, "I shared toys today" We told her that we r pround of her and she is a good girl.
