We don’t encourage Shannon to have too many sweets except for Sundays. We want Shannon to stay through with us throughout worship (which usually is 1 hour) then go for her toddlers’ class. For staying through during worship and not asking to go out, I will reward her with sweets. As for toddlers’ class, she usually wants me to come along.
I wanted to stay through the message last Sunday, so I told Shann, if she goes class on her own, I will reward her with sweets after class. She said ok.
Now, imagine this, Loads of sweets during worship (abt 3 or 4 fruti sweets), she went for class and am sure she ate some more sweets or junk food there, and the moment she finished class, she ran up to me and asked her reward (more sweets!!!).
Overdose of Sweets caused her to be so active! She slept for only 20 minutes on Sunday which was on our way back home after lunch. She usually sleeps for about an hour or 2 in the afternoons.
She got up and played n played, turning her toy car upside down and pretending to fix the car with daddy’s car keys, asking us to read her Mickey Mouse book, dancing to Barney songs and etc. We can’t take her out to the playground cause it rained.
Anyway, that evening, we went to USJ n she slept on daddy’s shoulder for another 45 minutes (I think). She got up and played again. She slept very late that night too.
The next day, Mimi was worried because she slept so much and wondered whether she was sick because she seemed so lethargic. Daddy told her that it was side effects of too many sweets.
Dearest Sunshine,
u grow up so fast! we must pen down somewhere or all will be gone down memory lane. So, this site is for u.
