Mummy: Hello

Daddy : Can pls buy M-A-C D-O-N-A-L-D-S. Shannon doesn't want to eat

Chang (Chinese dumpling. Mimi made Chang that day).

Mummy: Ok. I shall get nuggets and chicken for her. I'm not getting the value meal. Otherwise, she'll only eat the fries n not the chicken and nuggets.

Daddy : Ok. Don't get the fries (from the background i could hear Shannon

screaming I waaaannnnnttttt frrrriiiieeeesssss). Get me fish (Shannon from the background

screaming I don't want fish, don't want fish, don't want fish). Shannon, fish is not for you.

Mummy : Ok. Will see you soon.


At Mimi's place, Shannon said, "Mum got Mc D's" and she smile. She sat on the table and ate her nuggets and chicken while Mummy and Daddy had Mimi's Chang. She had her nuggets and chicken with tomato sauce.

Half way through her meal, she requested for chili sauce. I said it was spicy. She insisted. Daddy put some on her plate. She dipped her chicken in the chili sauce. B4 she ate the chicken i warned her again that it was hot. Without hesitation, she put it right straight into her mouth. I waited for her reaction....I thought she was going to cry.


She was quiet, swallowed the chicken and after a few seconds, asked for water. She did not cry. She gulped a few mouthful of water and asked to wash her fingers. Brought her to the sink, she washed her own hands, walk around the house for a little while then climbed on the chair and continued eating with us on another plate as if nothing happened. Offered her tomato sauce but she said no.
