Daddy brought her to the playground downstairs on Saturday. Daddy she said she was quiet when Daddy asked her to greet her neighbours. Daddy turned to her and asked, “Why you so quiet?” She answered, “I shy”.
Daddy said she must have learnt that word from Mimi. Most of the evenings, Mimi and Didi will take her to the playground. Each time when she is asked to say hello to strangers, she will shy away and Mimi will always say “She is shy”. So basically, that is where we thought she learned that phrase “I shy”.
