Shopping@Tesco

Last night...

Mummy and Daddy were discussing on buying a cucumber to make sandwiches. Mummy chose a smaller cucumber while daddy chose a bigger one.

Mummy: Why you need such a big cucumber to make sandwiches?
Daddy: Bigger is better so i can juice it

Shannon was in her trolley listening. Later....

Daddy : Ah yo, Mummy... y u pick such small onions?
Mummy : These are big onions. Bawang kecil much smaller la...
Daddy : Get the bigger ones la. You want to fry bawang goreng ah?
Mummy: Ok, Ok..

Mummy was pushing Shannon in the trolley.

Shannon: Daddy don't like small ones. Daddy like big ones.

She stretched both of her arms and opened her eyes wide when she said the word 'big'.
Mummy just laughed.

I was pushing the trolley and she was walking beside me. She saw the Pet Pet diapers and said "Buy Pet Pet pers (pampers). Pet Pet pers finish dy. No more." She dragged a pack and brought it to the trolley.

Not long later, Daddy and Mummy went to the can section and bought 2 cans of tuna. We put it in the trolley and as we were about to go, Shannon took another can of tuna and said, "buy one more?" Mummy smiled and said, "No dear, it's enough."

And of course as you shop your groceries she will remind you to buy her usual stuff like cheese, Vitagen, Yakult and Yogurt. She will asked, "Mum, buy gen (vitagen)." After you have put the vitagen in the trolley she will asked"Yogurt?". And if the items are put lower and she could reach, she will take it herself and ask you to put it in a trolley for her.

If we pass the biscuit lane, she will ask for crispy biscuit (cream crackers). If we pass the cereal lane, she will ask for 'Honey Star' or 'Coco Crunch'. IF we spot 'PRINGLES' from far, we will avoid at all cost! Take another lane. Distract her with other stuff just as long as she doesn't see it. Otherwise, she will beg "I want. I want. I want PING-GLES." She loves 'PRINGLES' and it is so unhealthy. We rather avoid than saying no to her.

Obviously, she is not a passive shopper. Even if you go shopping and try something out. She will comment whether it is nice or not.
