More new words from Leanne
Leanne can now engage on a meaningful conversation with her Grandparents..
Atta told her “Today, Atta bring your go Tesco”. She responded “No, I want to go to JayaJusco again. (Grandma brought her to JayaJusco last night and bought many things for her).
Leanne: I want to buy AppleGen
Atta: Who drive?
Leanne: Atta drive
Atta: Why Atta must drive?
Leanne: Grandma pau pau (carry) me
Leanne has picked up a lot of Malay words since staying with her grandparents in Melaka. She now knows words like Lipat, makan, masak, mabuk, susu, tidur, kentut, berak, kencing, mee goreng and many others. Yesterday, she surprised everyone at home when she accidentally slipped from the bicycle and exclaimed “me terperanjat” (shocked in Malay).
She now speaks correct English.
She asked “Atta, what are you doing”
No more “Atta doing what”.
