Buying toys for Leanne

Grandma’s friend was at Grandma’s house. He saw Leanne playing her toys and told her. “Uncle bring u to JayaJusco and buy toys for u”.
Leanne replied “No, I have lots of toys”
Grandma’s friend asked again “sure you don’t want buy toys”
Leanne again replied “No I have everything”.

In the evening, she wanted to play water. She asked Grandma “I want mandi”
Grandma said. “No need, u bathe already in the morning”
Leanne: “Need lah, me busuk (smelly)”. She pulled Grandma’s hand to the bathroom
So Leanne got to play water from the shower and bathe.

Leanne and Her New 'hand phone'

Atta bought a toy phone at the grocery shop. When reached home she told Atta, “afterwards, I tell Mama me buy hand phone”.

She now plays often with the hand phone and to make belief calls to her favorite Disney characters, Donald, Daisy, Mickey, Minne, Goofy, Pluto.
She would say “Hello Daisy, where are you, I want to speak u”

Interesting Conversations with Atta

It was raining in the morning. Atta wanted to buy newspaper at a shop nearby.
Leanne wanted to follow.
Leanne: I want follow, I want buy bun bread
Atta : It is raining outside
Leanne doesn’t trust Atta and said.
Leanne: Show me
She asked to be carried at the window to see if it is raining.
Leanne: Drizzling, use raincoat, use umbrella
Atta: Wait until rain stop


Leanne is now able to easily say numbers from one to ten.
This morning Atta asked her to repeat and say numbers one to ten.
She was in no mood and replied smilingly “I cannot, I stupid la”.
She refused to say the numbers in spite of Atta’s repeated request.
