Leanne Asking ‘Why” Questions
At this stage of growing up, she is very inquisitive and asks a lot of questions. Some questions even the adults could not find an answer. Every conversation with her is sure to contain “why” questions.
Atta: Leanne, this sweet cannot eat, it is dirty
Leanne: Why dirty?
Atta: it dropped on the floor
Leanne: why dropped on the floor?
Atta: U did not carry properly
Leanne: why did not carry properly?
Atta: careless
Leanne: Why careless?
Atta has no patience and kept quiet after this. The ‘why’ questions could go on and on.
Atta has No Answer for this Question.
Last night, we were traveling to IKEA for dinner, Uncle Daren was driving, Mummy was sitting at the front seat. Leanne, Atta and Grandma were seated at the back seat. Leanne was watching towards the front of car and could not see mummy easily. She exclaimed to everybody “Why mummy so short one”. Everyone in the car was stunned by the question and kept quiet as they could find not find an answer to her question.
Interesting ‘Why” Question
Mummy: Shannon, time to brush teeth
Shannon: Why my teeth cannot take out one?
Leanne must have observed Atta taking out his dentures before going to bed.
Mummy was speechless.
Sharing Chocolates
Yesterday, Grandma bought chocolates for Leanne. Mummy asked her to bring to church tomorrow. She said “no, don’t want to share.”
Later Atta asked her “how r u going to eat the chocolate?”
Leanne replied “when I come home”.
