Grandparents took her to a private hospital here in KL and the 2 pediatric surgeons are no more practicing in that hospital. They went to see a surgeon who does surgery on children too. Apparently, the surgeon they saw was the same surgeon who took out Daddy’s appendix 20 years ago! He is about 60 years old now and still practicing.
He said the same thing as other doctors did and assured us that GA for Shannon is safe. When asked about the cost, he said it’s about RM 3 000 in that hospital! What a rip off! It’s half the price to do the same operation in Melaka. Shannon’s opt by an ENT specialist here in Melaka cost about RM 1 500.
Anyways, we decided to do the operation in Melaka. It is cheaper and most of all the two grandparents are around to provide comfort after the opt. Oh, hopefully it’s not so painful when she wakes up from the GA.
I have not told her what’s going to happen next week. She looks so happy and not a little bothered about the cyst in her hear. Do keep her in prayers ya… THANKS!
